Genealogical Gems Newsletter - Starting up again in Spring 2009
The FVGS publishes Genealogical Gems quarterly (Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring). It is devoted to current Society activity, research tips, queries and previously unpublished materials of local, state and national genealogical and historical value. Any part of the publication may be reproduced by non-copyright and non-profit organizations in its entirety if appropriate credit is given.
Articles for publication in the Gems are solicited from members and/or others interested in family and local history research. The editor reserves the right to accept, conditionally accept, or reject articles. The editor also reserves the right to edit submissions for brevity, clarity and typographical errors.
Many items that appear in the Genealogical Gems are from exchange newsletters. These items are reprinted for the convenience of our members and readers. Gems makes no claim on the validity or accuracy of these offers. For back copies contact the society, at the address above, or a board member.
