Gene-A-Rama April 3 and 4, 2009 The Wisconsin State Genealogical Society (WSGS) will be celebrating its 70th Anniversary at the 2009 Gene-A-Rama Conference at the Marriott Madison West in Middleton on Friday and Saturday, April 3rd and 4th. The featured speaker will be author, lecturer and professional genealogist, Christine Rose, CG, CGL, FASG. Also featured will be James Hansen, FASG, of the Wisconsin Historical Society, Virginia Nichols presenting a workshop on applying for WSGS Pioneer and Century Family Certificates, David McDonald, CG and Nancy Emmert, CG, and George Findlen, CG, providing more of their genealogical skill building workshops. Also on hand will be vendors of genealogical and historical materials and services from whom you'll be able to purchase books and supplies for your own research.
